"Ryan and O'Doherty also plan to capitalise on the success of the New York Dog Magazine with the launch of the Hollywood Dog Magazine.

The New York Dog Magazine dubs itself “an upscale magazine with attitude - catering to one of the fastest growing markets in the country'‘. The magazine, which has a $4.95 cover price, has a circulation of about 21,000."

Does this wash with any of you?

From what I saw on TV it's a big success and growing, not surprising when you read how much money rich New Yorkers spend on grooming Dogs.

You never struck me as the naive type, duan.

C'mon, I can think of a dozen established dumber magazines without trying.

For sure, but you'd have to have met John Ryan to appreciate his preposterously large ego and capacity for talking complete shite.

I can imagine.

But, from one magazine guy to another, I think it's important to recall that most magazines exist largely to get advertising to a demographic. I imagine his does that quite well.

(Do me a favor and edit out that egregious apostrophe in my quote.)
